I had a vague idea of what I wanted to achieve with this slideshow, but I'm unsure if I like it or not. The initial idea I had was to take the sound piece I made, which evoked feelings of anxiety, and try to make visuals to match. I wanted to get close up images of the human body (for this version I used mostly the eyes) but I wanted them to be not always be in focus and clear. Not sure if it comes across this way at all.

And here's the video below:
I wish I had a little more time to work on it. I would have probably taken photos of other parts of the body because I have a lot of the same ones and it can feel a little repetitive. I'd also like to play around more with the transitions and timing of each photograph.

Assignment #6: Sound
I was really unsure of how to approach this assignment. I don't know much about sound and I've never really worked with it. What I decided to attempt to do was record sounds from around my apartment--typical things I would hear on a daily basis--and combine them with sounds that I gathered on a recent bus trip to Philadelphia. I'm still not sure how I feel about it now that it is complete, but I do know that I've discovered that I really would love to learn more about sound in general as a medium.
I called the assignment "Home Away From Home". I'm hoping to keep playing around with the noises I've collected/go out and collect more to work on a few more pieces that I will post in the next few days, but for now, here's the link for my first attempt at sound.
